SAP published its financial report for 2018. The growth of SAP CIS profit was threefold. Even despite the sanctions, the Russian division of SAP managed to increase the number of employees and overtake the American division in the implementation of the plan.
SAP published its financial report for 2018 in all countries of operation. According to the document, the SAP division in the CIS and Russia, which in 2018, despite the sanctions and deteriorating economic situation in the country, managed to increase revenue and even expand the staff.
SAP CIS revenues in 2018 amounted to 472.5 million euros against 468.4 million euros in 2017. The company’s profit for the year almost tripled: EUR 23.1 million against EUR 8.7 million in 2017. Thus, 2018 was the second profitable year in a row for SAP CIS – the company managed to get out of losses only in 2017. Meanwhile, the number of employees did not change significantly – 837 in 2018 compared to 826 in 2017.
According to a CNews interlocutor working for a major Russian SAP integrator, “even the American team was overtaken by the SAP CIS team to implement the annual plan”, and this fact was noted at the SAP global event, which is now taking place in Hawaii.
